Photography Awards

 
I spent years shooting editorial photos, reporting, and producing radio stories for OPB News. This earned me a number of media awards in television, radio, internet, and photography. Here are some highlights:

 

Two stories that I wrote, produced, and shot photos for were featured in a series that won OPB a Peabody Award this year.

 

An audio slideshow I shot and produced won 2nd Place in the 2009 Oregon Associated Press Broadcast awards for Best Use of Online Medium.

 

Another audio slideshow I photographed and produced won 3rd Place in the 2009 Oregon Associated Press Broadcast awards for Best Use of Sound.

 

My photo assignments range from snow surveys in the Cascade Mountains to photographing Oregon soldiers stationed in Egypt.

 
Other cool assignments include shooting portraits for NPR. The portraits accompanied an award-winning story about PTSD.
