Anthony needed professional photos for a modeling portfolio. So we met to chat and ended up setting up a photo session in early November. Anthony was a blast to work with. Tons of energy and a positive attitude that is contagious. It was so much fun working with this guy. He can do crazy parkour moves and dunk a basketball and has a smile that lights up the street.
I talked to him after he had seen the photos and asked him what he thought. Anthony told me they turned out great and he enjoyed working with me.
“I feel like it was just a really pleasant experience. The way that you do business is something that I really respect.”
Anthony appreciated that we met first for an initial consultation.
“I think that having an initial consultation, to even figure out if it would be a good fit work together, that’s something that first of all I was not expecting and second of all I’m certain that photographers will take your picture for money. They don’t care who they’re working with. And you take this in a far more professional sense.”
My honest, straight-forward approach was appreciated by Anthony.
“You give your clients the opportunity and say, ‘Hey, this is what I do, this is who I am, you can take it or leave it, still I just wanted you to know what you’re getting into before you get into it.’ I really respect that.”
Anthony hopes these photos help him get work with his agency, Sports + Lifestyle Unlimited.
“Whole purpose of this shoot for me was a tool to gain, to get jobs, get model gigs.”
He hopes to catch the eye of Nike and Adidas. But Anthony’s ultimate goal?
“One day be on the cover of Men’s Health”
I can definitely see that Anthony, someday soon!
