I’ve always liked the REM Pop Song 89 lyric, “Should we talk about the weather? (Hi…hi, hi) Should we talk about the government?…”
Let’s start with the weather. Damn it’s been a WET spring in western Oregon. It has rained for the last couple of weeks– just about daily. And cold, 50-degree rain. The mercury hit 64 today and it felt balmy. Until it began raining again.
As for the government, well, The Daily Show and Colbert are on a hiatus so I’m clueless right now! All I know is we’re still in TWO wars and we still don’t have enough money for schools and domestic necessities. * sigh *
