Should I stay or should I go
It’s becoming more and more clear to me that Miami is calling me with her siren song. Just not sure Portland is where my heart is right now. Maybe it’s just January talking. But I don’t think so.
I was born and raised in Portland, so I’m as prepared as anyone for these winters. This feeling is more than that though. Every visit I’ve had to Miami has been fantastic. Like it’s everything lacking in Portland – sun, models, a swimwear photography industry, warm ocean, cuban coffee, white sand, diversity…
And plus, I already have fans in Miami.

There is only one way to truly love Portland, live away for a few years. Go for it.
Thanks for the comment, Ed. I’m not necessarily looking to appreciate Portland more, just looking for a place that is more my style. And a place with a better NBA team. Miami seems to win on both counts.
