I’m reading a book on SI swimwear photogs and models. All the models shot self portraits of themselves in hotel bathroom mirrors using compact cameras– several using the G9.
The only time I’ve used my G9 for fashion was to shoot (silently) over the shoulder of Matthew Mitchell during a workshop a year and half ago. And while I did shoot these photos, I want to make it clear they’re just snaps during a workshop. They’re not really “my” photos or concept. Anyway, I owe a lot of my current tripod/tethered style to what I learned from Matthew at that workshop. His website is definitely worth a visit though be prepared to turn off the music (upper right corner) if you happen to be listening to something else.
And look at the light in that shot on the left! Damn it’s nice.
